How a category is assigned
Deterministic keyword rules over the artifact’s own name, description and the repository’s topics, applied fresh on every nightly run. No model decides this, which means the assignment is reproducible and it does not drift as the index grows. The same file gets the same category tomorrow unless the file changed.
Every category applies to all four artifact types, so the same filter works wherever you start from. An artifact that matches nothing lands in General rather than being left out of the taxonomy.
